OPTIONS/SPECIFICATIONS:
This is a unique 6 piece panel set that utilizes your existing aluminum backing. These are panel overlays only. There is a significant amount of preparation work to be performed before these panel overlays can be installed. You must peel your existing panels off the aluminum backing and thoroughly clean the aluminum before our panels will stick to it. Care must be taken to align the new overlays with the aluminum as you only get one chance to stick them correctly.
The photos show 2 of the overlays installed on the aluminum. This is for illustration purposes only. We do not provide the aluminum and we do not perform the installation.
OUTLINES: The outlines around the perimeter of the panels add significantly to the production time. The outlines are engraved and protected below the surface just like the text. Please choose the Outline option to add this feature to your panel set.
OPTION: Eliminating the aluminum backing. We can manufacture these panels with our traditional manufacturing process that will completely replace your existing panels. Our panels are 3/16 - 1/4" thick with acrylic backing and they will have pre-drilled mounting holes. You will have traditionally mounted panels with visible black stainless steel mounting screws. You will just need to drill pilot holes in your fiberglass dash to accept the new panels. This eliminates the need to strip your old panels and perform the time consuming transition process of installing overlays. Please email us if you would like to order the traditional panels
