- Requires one additional hole to be drilled to attach the distant end of the grab handle.
- The outer plate replaces your existing outer plate. You will have to transfer the aluminum connector bracket from your old plate to the new plate.
- Greatly eases the opening and closing of the sliding door. The black Delrin "dowel" pin is screwed to the finger slide on the latch slide plate, so the weight of your hand can actuate the latch while you are holding the handle. The dowel is not attached to the handle, it is machined so it can easily slide up and down the inside surface of the handle with minimal friction.
