- Used by Monterey Boats, Boston Whaler and used with our custom Contura 5 engraved actuators. Typically used to control 2 independent circuits with one switch like dual blowers, dual bilge pumps, dual horns, etc.
- 12V dual lamps. The lamp in the #1 (top) position is independent, The lamp in the #2 (bottom) position is dependent and illuminates when the switch is actuated to the ON position.
- An independent lamp has both a positive and negative terminal as opposed to a dependent lamp that just has a negative terminal. Independent lamps can be lit independently of the handle position as opposed to standard "dependent" lamps that get their power internally when the handle moves to the "on" position
- 6 terminal: Terminal #8 is the power for the independent lamp (top lamp). Terminal #7 is the ground for both lamps. Terminal #2 and #5 are power in and Terminal #3 and #6 are power out. Terminal #2 and #5 operate one circuit and Terminal #3 and #6 operate the 2nd circuit. They are isolated from each other.
- Typically the independent lamp is wired to the navigation light or dash light circuit so that the lamp will always be illuminated at night when the rest of the lights are on. The engraving in certain actuators like our C5's will illuminate. The bottom lamp will illuminate when the switch is moved to the "ON" position.
