• 6 terminal; Terminals #2,#5 are power in. Terminals #3,#6 are power out when the actuator is in the up position and Terminals #1,#4 are power out when the actuator is in the down position. ON/ON Switches always have Terminals active when powered. The two sides are independent of each other.

• This type of switch is often used in conjunction with another dash switch for cockpit lights. Another common use is for windshield wiper motors that require constant power to one wire for the "park" function.

• This switch and other Carling switches with "A" in the 4th position of the part# have guarded terminals. They are plastic dividers between each terminal. If there are multiple wires connected to a single terminal, you may want to choose a switch with a "1" in the 4th position of the part number which indicated non-guarded terminals.
