- 12V Green independent LED lamp in the 1 position is wired to terminals (#7 -) and (#8 +) and illuminates independently of actuator position.
- 12V Red dependent LED lamp in 2 position is wired to terminals (#3+)(internally) and (#7-). This lamp illuminates when the switch is actuated to the ON position.
- An independent lamp has both a positive and negative terminal as opposed to a dependent lamp that just has a negative terminal. Independent lamps can be lit independently of the actuator position as opposed to "dependent" lamps that get their power internally when the actuator moves to the "on" position
- 6 terminal; Terminal #7 is the ground for the green independent lamp in position 1(top) AND the Red dependent lamp in position 2(bottom). Terminal #8 is the power feed for the green independent lamp in position 1. Terminal #2 and Terminal #5 are power "IN". Typically they will be different input circuits each with their own circuit protection. Terminal #3 and Terminal #6 are power "OUT" (Terminal #3 is also the internal positive feed for the red lamp in position 2).
