- ON/OFF configuration
- The double pole switch is most often used to operate two separate lights, pumps, bilge blowers, etc.
- 24V green lamp in the 1 position is dependent and illuminates when the switch is actuated to the ON position. The bulb is wired to terminals 3 and 7
- 24V amber lamp in the 2 position is independent and can be wired to illuminate at any time. The independent lamp is wired to terminals 7 and 8
- An independent lamp has both a positive and negative terminal as opposed to the dependent lamps that just have a negative terminal. Independent lamps can be lit independently of the handle position as opposed to standard "dependent" lamps that get their power internally when the handle moves to the "on" position
- 6 terminal; Terminal #7 is the ground for the lamps, Terminal #8 is the power input for the independent lamp. Terminals #2,#5 are power in.Terminals #3,#6 are power out. The two sides of the switch are independent of each other.
