- 12V Red independent lamp in the #1 (top) position is wired to terminals (#7) and (#8) and illuminates independently of actuator position.
- 12V Red dependent lamp in #2 (bottom) position is wired to terminals (#3)(internally) and (#7). The red lamp in position #2 (bottom) illuminates when the switch is actuated to the ON position.
- An independent lamp has both a positive and negative terminal as opposed to the standard switches that just have a negative terminal. Independent lamps can be lit independently of the actuator position as opposed to standard "dependent" lamps that get their power internally when the actuator moves to the "on" position
- 4 terminal; Terminal #7 is ground for the lamps, Terminal #8 is the power feed for the red independent lamp in position 1(top). Terminal #2 is power in. Terminal #3 is power out.
